Complete Event Guide: Brace for the Moonlit!

Today’s the day: the long-awaited event guide is finally here!

I’ll admit it — I’ve been excited to write this one, and for good reason!
The event starts tomorrow, so here’s the big question: are you ready? Did you save up that hard-earned gold to make the most of it?

In this post, I’ll give a full overview of everything the event offers — from core mechanics to rewards and smart strategies to get ahead.

The New Event Skill

The event brings a temporary skill that not only boosts your total level, but is also essential for progressing the event campaign.

How does it work?
It’s based on farming three resources in sequence:
You gather the first to unlock the second, then the second to unlock the third.
Most players will spend about a week maxing this skill — and after that, you’re free to focus on other parts of the event. Below is the official event numbers.

Event Tickets

Throughout the event, you’ll collect tickets by doing:

• Dungeons
• Raids
• World Boss

These tickets are used to complete the campaign and unlock all the event rewards.

Exclusive Event Map

As soon as the event starts, a new map will be available — and you can teleport to it for free!
Use this wisely, especially if the event zone is close to your farming area.
Everything event-related happens here:
• Raids
• World Boss
• Dungeons
• Skill farming

It’s all packed into one convenient zone!

Dungeons

Dungeons have changed a lot compared to previous events.

Now they are expensive, last 1 hour, and require 75 runs to complete.

This means they are no longer an efficient way to level up your Combat like before.
If your goal is to level up quickly, your best bet is to focus on other ways.

But there’s still a reason to do them:

Dungeons can drop a mythic item with +3% Magic Find, the highest MF bonus we've ever seen in-game.

If you’re a Magic Find hunter and have some gold saved, this is your shot at a major boost.

Guild Raids

Raids are also adapted for the event.
You’ll be able to run shorter, faster raids with solid XP and tickets drops for the campaign.

World Boss

This boss drop:

• Event tickets
• Mythic item

They’re tough, but if you get lucky, the drops can be extremely valuable.
A great option if you’re after some serious profit.

Event Buff (like the Shrine!)

The current event has a community buff that works a lot like the Shrine — but it lasts the whole event!

There are 10 buff tiers, unlocked as players donate event points.

To activate it? Just go to Campaign and donate 1 event point.

Important: every time a new tier is unlocked, you’ll need to donate 1 point again to activate the next tier of the buff.

Make sure you’re getting the full bonus!

What Can You Focus On During the Event?

There’s no single “right” way — here are the best options:

1. Focus on the campaign and event skill
   • Level the skill while completing the campaign
   • Boost your total level and grab all the rewards Farm World Boss for Tickets

2. Farm World Boss for Tickets
   • World Boss is one of the most efficient source of tickets
   • Less expensive and decent rewards — a solid option
   

3. Farm gold by selling tickets
   • Many “whales” buy tickets early to rush the campaign
   • Selling ticktes during the first days can be very profitable

4. Chase Magic Find in Dungeons
   • Dungeons are expensive, but that 3% MF item might be worth it
   • Only recommended for players with gold to spare

5. Claim a free epic pet
   • Completing the campaign unlocks an epic pet
   • A must-have if you don’t already have one!

Bonus: Magic Find from the New Dungeons

With the updated dungeon system, you can complete two special event dungeons and earn +1% Magic Find from each!
We don’t know how many runs will be needed yet, but if you’re chasing legendary loot, this bonus won’t return until next year!

Skins and Backgrounds

The event shop includes limited character skins and exclusive backgrounds.
If something catches your eye, grab it while you can — these are one-time items!

Final Thoughts

This event is one of the most important times of the year in IdleMMO — a perfect opportunity to level up, make gold, hunt rare drops, and unlock a unique pet.

But strategies have changed this time:

• Don’t rely on dungeons unless you’re chasing MF or the mythic item
• Focus on the event skill and World Boss for efficient progress
